Dr. Stephanie Raispis

Hello, I am Dr. Stephanie. Pleased to meet you! I have always been a little animal crazy and drove my mom nuts by dragging in injured and homeless animals as a child. Baby squirrels, opossums, turtles, baby birds, deer, sheep, cats, and dogs were some of my family’s surprises. Not to mention the unthinkable things that I kept hidden under the bed like bird nests, animal skulls, caterpillars, incubating bird eggs, and tadpoles waiting to become frogs. I guess my parents were relieved when I went to vet school knowing that there was an underlying reason for my strange affinity for living and dead creatures. I attended the University of Kentucky and then went on to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and started a career that I have loved and cherished for many years. My mission is to promote the art of loving animals and people by using my training to keep pets healthy and supporting families and pets through difficult health crises that threaten their pets and peace of mind. I am deeply grateful for the trust and friendship of so many families who have enabled me to live my dream of a lifetime of loving and helping animals. I am also grateful for my family and my three human children, Edward, Stanley, and Jody who have been my inspiration, my cheerleaders, my helpers, and my dream makers as we traveled through this life as animal lovers.

Tammy Bivins

Hello, my name is Tammy. I moved to Danville, KY, in September 2023 with my husband, two cats, and two birds. I was offered this great opportunity to work here at Wilderness Trace and work with the wonderful staff. I've had a passion and love for animals from a young age. I've always had dogs, cats, and horses. One of my first jobs was working at a veterinary clinic, then training and racing horses. Then, I worked at an equine hospital in Ocala, Florida. So I'm so happy to be back working with animals again.
Zach Coffey

Zach Coffey

Hey, I’m Zach, part of the Wilderness Trace Veterinary Clinic team. I am currently attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College where I am studying Biology. After I graduate, I am hoping to apply and get accepted to Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine where I will further my education in this profession. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a love for all animals. From watching Animal Planet to mimicking Steve Irwin in my backyard, I’ve always craved helping animals in need. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, I was on track to become an architect but I knew it wasn’t for me. After a little time away from school, I decided I should try and dip my feet into my childhood dream. After sending a few emails, Wilderness Trace Veterinary Clinic replied to me and offered me a job. It didn’t even take me a day to realize how much passion I had for this career. I’m excited to see what the future holds and can’t wait to learn as much as I can in veterinary medicine.

Kristin Jones

Kristin joined the WTVC team in August of 2021 as a kennel attendant after working at an animal shelter. Kristin enjoys working with everyone here and the client’s pets because she feels it’s the best of both worlds. Her inspiration to work with animals comes from having her own. Amanda Warren

I'm Amanda. I graduated from Midway College with a Bachelors in Business administration. I live here in Danville with my husband, three kids, three dogs and one cat.
